Bury Hill's Sand/Soil Contract Rootzones are manufactured using a carefully selected free-draining sand blended with premium British Standard Topsoil (BS3882). Designed to suit a range of site requirements, these rootzones provide an ideal growing medium for the construction of natural sports pitches, formal lawns and other high-use turf areas.

Each Sand/Soil Contract Rootzone is produced in our dedicated blending facility, where the materials are thoroughly drum mixed before being screened through a genuine 5mm × 5mm mesh. Unlike alternative screening methods, such as piano wire screens, this process delivers a consistently high-quality rootzone that is easy to work with and provides reliable performance across every load.

Please note that rootzones with higher drainage rates will require more frequent irrigation during dry weather and may also need additional fertiliser applications to support healthy, sustained growth of sports turf, lawns and other amenity grass areas.
