The extremely popular Shrewsbury Flower show returns this week to entertain, educate and impress crowds of many excited people. The show, which takes place on August 14th and 15th, is set to be jam packed full of activities.
Everything from horticulture demonstrations to musical concerts and food stalls will be available during the event, keeping visitors entertained at all times.
What to Expect
It would seem that there really is something for everyone at the Shrewsbury Flower Show. Whether you are impressed by arena entertainment such as show jumping and stunt riding, or musical entertainment in the form of male voice choirs and musical concerts, you are sure to find something to keep you entertained.
Ancora, the classical crossover vocal harmony group, will be performing in the arena on Friday evening, followed by the Proclaimers who are set to perform on Saturday.
You can also expect to see celebrity appearances from the likes of TV chef, Tom Kerridge, who will be in the food hall dishing up his famous pub grub style food.
Of course, there will be plenty of things for flower and gardening fanatics to see and do during the Shrewsbury Flower Show. Not only are there exhibitors from all over the country attending, there will be national and local floral displays, as well as outside show gardens and an ‘Our Future Marquee’, designed for younger visitors to learn about bio-diversity and wild flowers.
