The galvanised bracket has been shaped to fit over your arris rail and has pre drilled holes for you to nail the repair bracket into place.

You can also use the 225mm arris rail repair bracket to attach a plain ended arris rail to a non morticed posts. This can increase the strength of the entire fence construction.
