Our 1.75m Tongue and Groove Gate, also known as a TGV gate, is a very popular product named so because of the way the timber boards have been joined together to create the gate.
If you are looking to help protect your property, then the ample height of this gate offers excellent increased privacy and is a visual deterrent as well as a physical one. The gate is 45mm thick.
It has been clear treated which makes the Tongue and Groove gate suitable for painting or further staining to suit your tastes. AVS recommend you fit the gate using 375mm (15") or 450mm (18") T hinges. A popular latch for this gate is the 5" ring latch.
As timber is a natural product, we strongly recommend that you use side fittings at the top and bottom when installing your gate, to help prevent movement.
