The best sizes for fixing field gate fittings are M8x80 or M10x50 depending on your preference. Coachscrews may be purchased in any quantity.
For fixing timber to masonry walls use the appropriate length for the timber thickness plus 50mm so for 50mm timber wall plates use 100mm
For fixing timber to timber choose the appropriate length plus approx. 50mm.
