Service rating : Driver was a saint but office let them down, was told I could have my delivery Tuesday and it ended up being Thursday, I had booked a handyman for tuesday and booked the week off. ended up having to put it up myself so not good. Product : Could have a better finish as only rounded on the one side. |
Thank you for your valuable feedback and I am sorry that you feel the products you have been supplied were not satisfactory. Having looked back at your order I can see you have used the Fencelock and Metpost items with Concrete Slotted Posts.
The Fencelock items are designed specifically for 75mm timber fence posts and the Metpost spike for 100mm fence posts. It therefore stands to reason that these items would not fit around a concrete slotted post as it is 104mm wide. Service rating : The original delivery date was for a Monday, which was not convenient for me, so I rang and changed the delivery day to the Thursday of the same week. On the Monday afternoon, I looked through one of my front windows and I saw that my delivery had been placed on my drive. The delivery person had not rang my door bell when he was about to put the delivery on the drive or I would have been able to tell him that it was the wrong day.As a result, I now had gravel boards, concrete posts, wooden panels and post mix to move on my own (I am a pensioner) from my front drive to my rear garden. Luckily, one of my neighbours saw the situation I was in and helped me to move all the items to my garden.I telephoned the local AVS branch at Wokingham to find out why my delivery had been delivered on the incorrect day. I was told that there were two people with my surname and the person I had originally spoken to, had changed the wrong delivery. This meant that the other person with the same surname would be waiting in vain on the Monday for his delivery, as his delivery day had been changed to the Thursday. When I originally rang the branch to change the delivery day, I had given my full name, address, postal code and Sales Reference Number, so there was no reason for the mix up. Product : They seem to be of a good quality, I will find out today when I put my new fence up. |
