Great price, speedy service... would have got an overall excellent if the delivery had not been left outside my property for anyone to walk off with and un-signed for. The delivery drivers arrived much earlier than I was told so I wasn't at home but they didn't call me - I could have been with them in 10 mins. | |

The original boards I ordered weren't in stock so they phoned me with a suggested replacement, which would have been fine except they did not tell me they we're not as wide. Therefore, I didn't have enough meaning I had to order more and the job was held up.
Also, I over-ordered on the rails by 3 pieces (my mistake). When I tried to return them I was told there was a 20% restocking fee. I explained how this was not allowed under the Distance Selling Regulations and they said they still would still apply a restocking fee. I then referred them to their own T&Cs on the website (which stated the full cost would be refunded). I was told by (I believe the branch manager) that he would have to check with the regional manager and he would call me back later that day. I heard nothing and called him back the next day and he confirmed the restocking fee would not apply. The end result is I have a lovely looking deck and was able to return my extra rails without a restocking fee, but it was all much more hassle than it needed to be. |
I have today communicated our terms & conditions to all staff. The other issue in calculating the correct quantity for the decking was human error. I am sorry if this caused you extra hassle. Regards AVS Fencing Supplies |
