Secondhand Railway Sleepers
Excellent value timber sleepers that will last for many years. Ideally suited for edgings, bases, bridges and creating soil retention structures, but it is not advised to use them when growing vegetables.

Service rating : Surprisingly quick delivery, efficient service with email pror notification of delivery date. only slight issue was that pallet of sleepers was left in the middle of the drive leaving me to have to manhandle them all to one side before we could park the cars. All fine | AVS Fencing believe the size of the bag and price of this product is competitive with other firewood and kindling suppliers. The only thing I can think of is that this was one of the last nets of last years stock. It would really help us to hear of any specific concerns. Sorry you were not satisfied on this occasion. Service rating : Delivery prompt. Product : There was no definition as to what a grade A sleeper was but I would have at least expected them to 'square'. Several are so misshapen as to as to be unusable for the project. |
Second hand Railway Sleepers are not the easiest things to grade and describe. Our yard staff always aim to put aside any Sleepers that appear to have been mis-graded. I apologise if in your case this was not the case.
