Chainlink is a very traditional wire mesh fencing product this has been around for many years, it is erected on to a series of strained line wires. Chain link fencing can be erected on a range of posts, although concrete and steel fencing posts, such as angle iron, and are very popular for permanent fencing whereas timber posts may be used for temporary chainlink fences or for garden applications.
Rolls of chainlink fencing are normally 25m long and each roll when purchased from AVS comes complete with sufficient line wire for the erection of that roll. For example, with 1.8m high chainlink fencing three line wires are normally used top, middle and bottom. The chainlink fencing is normally hung or stirruped over the top line wire and then tied with wire ties or netting clips to the middle and lower line wires.
Chainlink fencing is available in a galvanised finish or a range of PVC coated finishes, the most common PVC coated chainlink being Green in colour.
