Wire Joiners

The gripple is the best known brand of wire joiner and are easy to use. Just take the end of the wires to be joined and push them into the gripple. The gripple is able to grip onto wires that are strained and tensioned. Tensioning of the fencing wire can be done with either conventional wire strainers or by using the device in the gripple starter pack. Gripple wire joiners are available to suit a range of plain wire diameters, these wire joiners are also suitable for joining barbed wire. An alternative to wire joiners is to create a joint in the wire by creating a splice or by tying a knot in the fence wire if the wire is high tensile.
