These Timber Posts are made from kiln dried pine which is a redwood making it really durable. They are available in either green (actually light brown) or dark brown finish depending on your requirement for garden fence posts. From 1st April 2009 all of our sawn treated fencing posts have a 15 year guarantee against rot. AVS also sell Concrete Fence Posts which also have a long life. This size of fencing post is usually used for Cleft Post and Rail or Closeboard Timber fencing, plus any other fencing which is solid and 5’or 6’ high
