Chestnut Struts
Chestnut struts are used with chestnut fence straining posts when erecting most types of wire fencing, such as stock fencing and barbed wire.
Chestnut struts are used to support the chestnut fence straining post being fitted, using either one or two struts per straining post, preventing it from leaning over when the fence wire is tightened up.
