AVS offer a selection of styles, this is a quick guide to help you select the right materials.

A traditional look may be produced by using Colonial turned newal posts and spindles. These may be used with the Burbidge handrail which is used both as the top and base rail, or with the heavy handrail and baserail.

A functional look can be achieved using square newal posts and square spindles. To do this use the Patrice newal post with square spindles. Use either the heavy rails or the Q Deck handrail. Don''''t forget the handrail fillets which are used at the top of the spindles. Another tip is that the spindles normally require cutting to length.
