Barrel Strainer
Barrel strainers are used by tying one end of the line wire to the hoop end of the barrel strainer and then clipping the hook to or tying the other piece of line wire to the hook and rotating the ‘barrel’ to tighten the strain on the wires.
Hooks Pre-packed
The cabin hooks only require to be screwed into place.
Knee Rail Straps
To use position your ‘v’ notched posts and square rail and simply place knee rail strap over joint and bend to fit post. To secure simply nail or screw into the post and rail.
Slip Rail Brackets PP
Slip rail brackets are simply screwed into place.
Springs Pre-packed Black
The spring closer is attached by simply screwing the top and bottom plates in the desired positions. The spring will then need to be tensioned by using a lever to tighten up the bolt at one end and it is secured with a pin that slots in place.
Springs Pre-packed Galvd./BZP
The spring closer is attached by simply screwing the top and bottom plates in the desired positions. The spring will then need to be tensioned by using a lever to tighten up the bolt at one end and it is secured with a pin that slots in place.
Vine Eyes
Vine eyes are simply screwed into place, pre drilling may be necessary.
2 Pin Push In Cleats
Simply slot the two pins into the pre drilled holes in the concrete post and then bolt the gravel board to the cleat via the hole in the cleat.
When using timber posts the same method is used, except holes will need to be drilled in the post at the required position.
Gripples
Gripples are installed simply by pushing two ends of wire into either side of the gripple. A gripple tool can then be used to pull the wire through the gripple to gain tension on the wire.
A wire strainer can be used to strain the two ends of wire together inside the gripple if a gripple tool is not available.
It is also possible to use a gripple as a connector rather than a strainer, by simply sliding the two ends of wire into the gripple and then straining the wire from the strainer post rather than the gripple.
The new ‘T’ Clip Gripple is installed by hanging the two clips over the wire and threading the end if the wire through the gripple itself.
Gripple Starter Pack
Gripples are installed simply by pushing two ends of wire into either side of the gripple. The gripple tool can then be used to pull the wire tighter together to gain tension on the wire.
