What length Fence Posts do I need?

For posts concreted into the ground
For 1.8M high panels 2.4M long posts are suitable if the ground is firm and flat. Where the ground slopes or if the soil is light or soft use 2.7M posts.

For posts being used with metal post bases
For 1.8M high panels 2.1M long posts are suitable, trim the top of the posts once erected leaving a projection of 2 1/2 inches above the panel and add a post cap.
