Erecting Post & Rail Fencing

Normally constructed using 2.1m 125x75 fence posts and 3.60m 87x38 section rails. The fence posts are normally set every 1.8m but can be spaced to 3.60m apart, in this case the rails will need supporting with a small intermediate post similar to half a rail.

Can either be assembled from machined (regular machine smoothed material) or peeled & treated. Fence posts are erected every 1.83m and rails span two posts. For strength stagger the rail joints. It is best to at least partially dig the post holes rather than try and drive the fence posts fully from the ground surface.
