Tips For Field Gates with D Loop

Metal field gates come with eye bolts and have eye bolt slots in the hanging style of the gate.
The eyes are simply threaded through the holes and clamped around the style with the nuts provided. The eyes are then hung on hooks attached to the hanging post. The eyes could be adjusted so that the gate is able to swing open and closed. This is done by adjusting the nuts that clamp around the hanging style, depending on the position of the post.

The ‘D’ loop is used with a self locking gate catch and simply locks into the self locking gate catch on the slam post.
