




Place the spindles between the fillets/infills at the appropriate spacings and screw the spindles into place through the top of the top fillet/infill and from underneath of the bottom of the bottom fillet/infill.
The fillets/infills can then be screwed into place underneath the handrail and slotted into the base rail to keep the joints hidden.
The handrail is attached to the newel post by using handrail brackets. These are simple ‘L’ shaped brackets. First screw the bracket on to the underneath of the handrail and base rail.
Then attach the completed balustrade to the post by screwing the handrail bracket into the side of the post.
Small screws are suggested for this, the length is based upon the depth of your handrail.
