With summer nearly upon us, now is a great time to spruce up your garden and ensure it looks its best for your enjoyment over the next few months.

Did you know that trellis dates back to the roman times?

You can see some of the oldest examples of trellis work  in the gardens  of Pompeii and Herculaneum. They used the trellis to support plants and vines for their wine-making, and to create a seclusion in the gardens with beautifully scented plants – it gave the romans the perfect place to relax and drink their hard-earned wine! Shame they hadn't quite discovered decking!
