Our good friends at the BBC have written an interesting article about the effects of gardening for children. Their report of 1,300 teachers and 10 schools indicated that children who were involved in gardening were more resilient, confident and most importantly, lived healthier lives. The report said: "it encouraged pupils to become more active in solving problems, as well as boosting literacy and numeracy skills."
