Railway Sleepers

Railway sleepers have found a wide range of alternative uses particularly in the landscaping industry and in some areas of construction and civil engineering. AVS Fencing as a major sleeper supplier have good stocks of sleepers held at multiple branch locations.

The type of sleepers supplied comprise New Sleepers and Recycled sleepers or in other words secondhand sleepers. New sleepers comprise Oak sleepers or Treated softwood sleepers. Recyled sleepers are all creosoted treated and the most popular are hardwood. Railway sleepers for hard landscaping or other uses can be supplied in any quantity from one to many thousands. Uses include edging, soil retention, steps, paths, seats, bridges and other public access works.
