Acoustic Fencing

Acoustic Fencing from AVS fencing is available as either reflective acoustic fencing or absorbent acoustic fencing. AVS can either supply treated timber and steel components to clients own acoustic detail or to our generic designs. For many situations a reflective barrier can be used for situations where sound waves can be prevented from reaching their destination by creating a barrier between the object of the noise and the area requiring protection. This will not be suitable for all situations or where a greater db (decibel) drop in noise is required this is where the absorbent barrier fence can be used. A common use for reflective acoustic fences in beside highways which are adjacent to residential development or indeed for industrial and construction site perimeters which are adjacent to residential housing.
