The Stronguard Cantilever protector gate range has been designed to complement our full product portfolio of fencing systems. The gate range offers an extensive choice of widths and heights with an almost endless array of infills. Suitable for general applications or high security sites, the range integrates seamlessly with the complete range of Barkers Fencing perimeter security systems and harmonises with all styles of existing or new boundary installations.
The Cantilever protector gate range can be operated manually and semi-automatically there is also the option to have a fully automated system installed. Single leaf widths of 3m to 7m are available.
Double leaf widths of 6m to 14m are available, as well as heights of 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.1m and 2.4m.
Manual Cantilever gate
The gate is opened and closed by hand, and locked using a euro cylinder type lockinox lock and key.
Dead Man Cantilever gate
The gate is powered by an electric three phase motor which operates via a dead mans switch i.e. a key in inserted and turned towards desired directions of movement. Once the hand is removed from the key the gate stops dead.
Automated Cantilever gate
Powered by an electric three phase motor, which opens and closes without supervision. This option can be controlled using various access control systems i.e. card swipes, remote control key fobs, ground loops, coded key pads, intercom systems, camera intercom systems, iris readers and finger print readers. The gate opens to allow entry and closes automatically after a pre-set time (e.g. 20 seconds). For safety reasons all automated gates must have safety edges on both the gate leaf end and on the fate support post.
An infra-red beam is also required for additional pedestrian and vehicle protection. If at any time during the closing of the gate either the infra-red beam of the safety edges sense an obstruction in the gateway, the protector gate will stop and re-open, and after a pre-set time re-close.’

AVS deliver across the south east directly from our 9 branches around the UK.
Our delivery areas are divided into zones by post code, based on the distance away from our branches.
Our standard delivery service is approximately 4 - 5 working days, depending on the product line. Some products can take up to 10 working days to deliver. However, this can vary due to stock levels and seasonal demand, especially during adverse weather conditions. Please get in touch with our team if you have any questions.
If you would like to request delivery on a chosen day or would like the driver to call ahead, please add the details to the 'comments' box just before you check out. Please note, you are not normally required to be present when your order arrives.
These are our delivery charges based on the area or 'zone' your post code is in, which reflects the distance our delivery trucks must travel from the closest AVS branch.

Your Delivery Day
We usually deliver your goods to the kerb side or a driveway entrance. The delivery vehicles are heavy lorries that can damage private driveways by cracking paving slabs or light weight drain covers etc.
We strive to carry out our deliveries Monday - Friday, between 8am - 4pm, except on UK Bank Holidays. This can of course vary depending on things like traffic and other exceptional circumstances beyond the control of AVS and our delivery drivers. Where possible we will contact you prior to us arriving with a delivery time window.
