The year 2015 is set to be packed full of inspiring events and awards for the growing landscaping industry. Picking just a few of the key landscaping events is a difficult task, however in our guide you’ll find out which dates you should really be putting in your diary this year!

February

The Garden Press Event: The Barbican Exhibition Centre, London, 12th

First there is the very important Garden Press event. The exhibition provides exhibitors with the opportunity to showcase their plants, products and ranges early in the season. They also have the chance to network with leading writers from the National and Trade Press, as well as TV and radio Garden broadcasters, and magazines.

RHS Chelsea Flower Show: Chelsea, London, 19th-23rd

It’s likely that you have already heard of this annual event. The Chelsea Flower Show, organised by the RHS sees the grounds of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, transformed into inspirational show gardens and horticultural displays.

Visitors have the chance to discover emerging gardening trends and see new plants being launched. With over 150,000 visitors attending each year, the Chelsea Flower Show is one of the most popular gardening shows around.

BBC Gardeners' World Live: NEC, Birmingham, 11th-14th

BBC Gardener’s World Live is partnered with both the BBC and the RHS, and is one of the UK’s largest gardening events of the year. Exhibitors at the show have the opportunity to increase their brand awareness with new and existing audiences, drive sales and launch new products to over 103,000 visitors who attend annually.

RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show: Hampton Court, 30th June - 5th July

Whether you want to see stunning floral displays, learn about growing your own fruit and vegetables or find out the next big names in garden design, the RHS Hampton Court Palace Show has it all. As the world's largest annual flower show, there is plenty to see and do. There will be a range of horticultural displays, conceptual gardens, and activities available in the grounds of the royal palace. This really is an event not to be missed for keen gardening fans

Landscape Show: Battersea Park, London, 22nd-23rd

This leading trade event is ideal for landscape designers, architects, interior designers, and contractors who are involved in valuable projects around the UK and beyond. The show is dedicated to services, products and innovation for the design and management of exterior and interior landscape projects.

GLEE: NEC, Birmingham, 14th-16th

GLEE is a wholesale buying event, showcasing over 500 leading UK and international wholesale garden suppliers. At the event visitors have opportunity to get advice on how to grow their business, despite challenging trading conditions, and discover the latest trends and products on the market.

November

SALTEX: NEC, Birmingham, 4th-5th

SALTEX is a national event for grounds care, sport, amenities and green space management. The event features over 230 exhibitors showcasing the latest products and equipment, covering the complete range of grounds care.

Other key dates in the landscaping calendar include Landscape Live, the Landscape Institute Awards and BALI Awards. Dates are yet to be confirmed but we will keep you posted!
