The RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2015 returns on 7th May with a brand new look. From 7-10th May, visitors have the chance to explore inspirational show gardens, stunning floral displays, and many other exciting highlights from the event.
The History of the Show
The festival, inspired by the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, is the Royal Horticultural Society’s first regional show. The festival gardens were launched in 2014 and are aimed at novice gardeners. The event is well known for being a source of expert advice, as well as innovation.
What to Visit
There are plenty of things to see and do at the Malvern Spring Festival 2015. The Floral Marquee will appeal to visitors wanting to buy quality plants and get expert advice and inspiration for planting schemes. You can explore the Get Growing arena for expert workshops on growing your own plants.
Talks will be available from gardening experts such as Carol Klein, James Alexander-Sinclair and Joe Swift. Inspirational Show Gardens created by top designers will be on display for visitors to look at. Designers include RHS Gold medal winners so you can be sure that the quality will be high.
If you’re a keen shopper, you will also have the chance to choose from a range of plants, gifts and gardening products to purchase.
There will be a whole host of famous faces attending the much loved event, including chef, Raymond Blanc, and MasterChef presenter, Greg Wallace. They will be joining festival favourite, James Alexander-Sinclair in the Festival Theatre, where you will also be able to sample local and international food and drink. If you are a self-confessed foodie, there is definitely something for you.
