The highly anticipated RHS Hyde Hall Flower Show 2015 took place in Essex last week from Thursday July 30th to Sunday 2nd August. The show, which returned for its sixth year in the spotlight, was bursting with exciting features such as gardening demonstrations and expert advice sessions.
The Hyde Hall Flower Show had plenty to offer its gardening fanatic visitors this year, putting on award-winning nursery displays and garden sundry stands, as well as selling a wide range of handy gardening products.
But what exactly could the public expect from the show?
Mini Show Gardens
Visitors were given plenty of ideas and inspiration from the mini show gardens. Useful for any garden owner, visitors were given the chance to catch up on current design trends as well as discover innovative planting combinations.
Floral Art Marquee
Local Essex flower arrangers put on a range of innovative displays for attendees to enjoy. On display were categories such as ‘Basket of Summer Flowers’, ‘Cornucopia of Roses’, and ‘Picnic at Hyde Hall’.
Gardening Advice and Demonstrations
RHS experts were available during the four day extravaganza to answer all gardening related queries. A feature called ‘Meet the Hyde Hall Gardeners’, which involved informal drop-in sessions relating to topical gardening tasks, was also available during the Hyde Hall Flower Show.
Willow weaving and painting demonstrations were another popular attraction during the event, keeping visitors thoroughly entertained.
Food and Shopping
A wide variety of plants, garden furniture, tools and equipment were up for sale at the Hyde Hall Flower Show. Live music and tasty food was also around for attendees to enjoy during their visit.
