It is not long now until The Landscape Show opens its doors to visitors in Battersea Park, London. This important industry trade event takes place this week from 23rd-24th September and is on track to deliver a fantastic show to visitors eagerly awaiting its return.
The Landscape Show brings the industry together by attracting professionals such as garden designers, landscape contractors, facilities managers and architects to visit the show. Here you can find the latest products and services being exhibited, as well as an inspiring seminar programme run by some of the top names in the industry.
Classes & Seminars
As previously mentioned, The Landscape Show will be hosting an array of exciting and educational seminars, delivered by inspirational speakers. Some of the topics you can expect to learn about are social media in business, building sustainable cities, garden design, and becoming a chartered horticulturalist.
There are also various master classes to get involved in, chaired by Andrew Fisher Tomlin, a director of the London College of Garden Design. LCGD are running master classes on elements such as design, planting and construction and you can find out what is happening when on the Landscape Show website.
Product of the Year
The winner of the Society of Garden Designers Product of the year will be announced on 24th September at The Landscape Show. This competition celebrates some of the best products on the market available to garden-makers. The 10 manufacturers listed as finalists in the competition are listed on the website and their products will be voted on by garden designers at the show.
There will also be the opportunity to meet with editors of well-known trade magazines on Tues 23rd September, and some of the country’s leading authors on Weds 24th September. Whether you fancy talking to the magazine editors about their future features and issues you think should be covered, or want to hear about the authors’ upcoming projects, The Landscape Show gives you the chance to network with the experts.
The YoungHort Autumn Conference will be at The Landscape Show on Weds 24th September, targeting young people under 25 who are studying horticulture. The YoungHort initiative was set up to promote young people in the industry and encourage others to choose a career in horticulture.
