Exciting times lie ahead for The British Association of Landscape Industries as it announces its move to new premises in Stoneleigh Park. Relocating from Warwickshire Park, BALI HQ continues to act as the key place for members to enquire about business, promotional and technical support.
Not ones to disappoint, BALI was involved in the design process which saw the installation of handy features such as an air source heat pump and fibre optic broadband.
What is BALI?
The British Association of Landscape Industries has been around since 1972 and was established as the UK’s representative trade association for the landscaping sector. Their aim is to support their members who come from backgrounds such as interior and exterior landscaping and designing, and companies who supply industry related products and services, in becoming ‘’leaders of an environmentally, ethically, and commercially sustainable landscape industry.’’
How can I get involved?Events:
BALI holds various events and courses throughout the year, most notably the BALI National Landscape Awards which is being held in London on Friday 5th December 2014 in association with Horticultural Week. Last year, Greg Allen, Senior Lecturer in Landscape Studies at Writtle College chaired the adjudication panel which saw 46 BALI Members win their awards.
Headingly’s Landscape Live in October this year is also set to be an inspirational and fun event, featuring seminars and conferences which allow attendees to network with exhibitors. BALI’s National AGM is another key date in the diary which is fast approaching. The meeting is exclusive to BALI Members and will be held during SALTEX (Sports Amenities Landscaping Trade Exhibition) at Windsor Racecourse in September.
