This week, GROW London, the Contemporary Garden Fair returns 19-21st June at the desirable location of Hampstead Heath. The buzzing event is jam packed with rare plants, hand-crafted tools, furniture and garden advice from top experts in the industry.
What’s happening at GROW London, 2015?
GROW London, the Contemporary Garden Fair is inspired by stylish European gardening shows and is a new concept in British gardening events. The event will showcase around 100 exhibitors selling items such as furniture, plants and paraphernalia in an attractively styled marquee.
Thought up by entrepreneur, Will Ramsay, GROW London is an educational and enjoyable experience, suitable for people of all ages and backgrounds.
GROW London Feature Areas
This year, the show will hold four feature areas that offer ideas and inspiration for your own garden at home.
Feature areas come from the likes of Petersham Nurseries who are creating a sensory garden, bursting with colour and scent, and Francesca Murrell, who has designed a shepherds hut to look like a ‘Stitcher’s Retreat’. Included in her design are stitched and real plants, an embroidered chair, a sewing machine and wall hangings.
Not only does the show offer entertainment, it also provides the opportunity to learn gardening tips and tricks. Educational workshops such as bouquet and window box making, as well as medicinal recipe tasters, are ideal for all garden lovers. Just head along to ‘The Nursery Workshop’ space to take part in these free enjoyable activities.
Or will you be taking along your kids? Drawing sessions and monoprinting will be available for children who want to have fun as well as get closer to nature.
